Please Beware of Ads Promising Quick Returns for Cashing a Check

ath Power advises consumers to disregard letters, classified ads or emails that promise fast cash and free gifts by performing mystery shopping and other service evaluations.

ath Power and its a3 Audits/Mystery Shopping division never conducts mystery shops involving check cashing or money transfers, nor do we ask field representatives, shoppers, consumers or survey respondents to send us money. There is a scam under the guise of a "sweepstakes prize, inviting consumers to reap rewards on and to obtain mystery shop engagements by cashing checks.

A warning sign that the ad, email or letter may be a scam is the inclusion of incorrect or false company contact information. This information may contain our name, logo, address, phone number or other details. If you are unsure that the correspondence is actually from ath Power, please DO NOT attempt to cash a check or send/wire any funds. Instead, please email us at inquiry@athpower.com immediately.

ath Power is a Charter Member of and holds a Board of Directors seat on the MSPA (Mystery Shopper Providers Association). We are working with the MSPA and all appropriate authorities to eliminate all individuals involved in facilitating mystery shopping schemes.
